The release color is the product that gives an antiquing or accent color to the stamped concrete project.
A final stamp design can be applied to your concrete. These are all the stamps and textures that we have available for rent.

You can see our primary integral color chart here. It is important to note that final decisions shouldn’t be made from a digital color chart. We strongly encourage utilizing a professionally printed color chart and visiting our Grand Rapids, MI showroom first. Color charts are available at our showroom to take home.
Keep in mind that there are some disclaimers when it comes to integrally colored concrete. The process in which concrete is poured is difficult to control. Because of this, the color variations can vary from concrete pour to concrete pour. All color swatches off our color charts are representations of the final color. Ingredients and conditions like cement color, humidity, water, aggregate, and more will affect the color of the concrete. It is important to pick colors that compliment the surrounding area of your project and to NOT match a color chip to existing landscape or building colors.
The release color is the product that gives an antiquing or accent color to the stamped concrete project. After you choose your integral color, you’ll need to pick a color off of this color chart.
Generally, this will be a darker color, but there is no limit to what you can choose. The release product is used in the stamping process by your contractor to keep the stamps from sticking to the still-wet concrete. They broadcast the release over 100% of the slab before the stamping process begins. After the concrete is stamped and hard, your contractor will wash approximately 70% – 90% of the release agent off to expose your integral color.
Last, you need to pick out your stamp design. Here is our stamp brochure. These are all the stamps and textures that we have available for rent. Most of them are available to see in our in-house showroom. We do recommend that you have conversations with your contractor about your project and what stamp may be best suited.
